After making it onto the BBC Introducing playlist last year with his debut single, Balance, Billy Lockett returns to The Cellars at Eastney tonight.

His Eastney appearance is the start of a headline tour and comes ahead of a launch party at Barfly in London on Thursday for his first EP, Pathways, which is out next Friday.

Then, next weekend, he can be seen at the Dot To Dot Festival across Bristol, Nottingham and Manchester.

The Northampton musician is self-releasing the EP through Selfish Records after winning fans in Fearne Cotton, Greg James and Huw Stephens and working with Guy Chambers, Robbie Williams’s famous co-writer.

He’s recently supported Nina Nesbitt on tour and support for his show comes from Guide Award-winning artist Luke Ferre.

Tickets: £6 from (023) 9282 6249, or £7 on the door from 7.30pm.
