Irish megastars Boyzone are to perform at the home of Hampshire cricket on August 1 as part of the fourth annual Ageas Family Festival.
Alongside a day of family entertainment, the festival will feature Hampshire v Middlesex in the Royal London One-Day Cup, a 50-over competition.
The boyband, known for hits including Love Me For A Reason, Words, and When The Going Gets Tough, are celebrating two decades in the music industry, having racked up 18 top 10 singles including six number ones, and sold 25m albums worldwide.
In a statement, Boyzone said: ‘After the heroics of the Irish team in the Cricket World Cup, we’re glad to be bringing a bit of the Irish craic to the Ageas Bowl.
‘It will be the last gig of the summer for Boyzone so we’re all looking forward to a great night.’
Tickets will be on general sale at 9am on Wednesday from ageasbowl.com. Tickets are priced at £40 for adults and £10 for under-18s.
The match starts at 10.30am with a scheduled finish of around 6.30pm.
