DANCE titans The Chemical Brothers and Underworld as well as 80s legends Duran Duran and soul survivors The Jacksons are among the first names to be announced for this year’s Bestival.
The festival, which takes place at Robin Hill on the Isle of Wight from September 10 to 13, has a different theme each year, with 2015 set to be The Summer of Love.
Bestival founder Rob da Bank said: ‘We’re taking it right back to our roots for the 12th annual Bestival.
It’s also the 20th birthday of the club where it all started – Sunday Best, and that club and our beloved Bestival were founded on some pretty simple aims - listen to amazing music, make new friends, have fun, and maybe stay up all night.
‘Two decades later we’re rigidly sticking to those principles, and this edition of Bestival, with its Summer of Love theme, is all about one huge musical, well, orgy.’
Underworld will be headlining Thursday night’s Big Top, while The Chemical Brothers will headline Saturday night’s mainstage
Other acts slated to appear include last year’s Mercury Prize winners Young Fathers, Tame Impala, Jungle, Flying Lotus, Jurassic 5 and Gorgon City.
There will also be DJ sets from Annie Mac, Lily Allen presents FUNLORD, Seth Troxler, Tale of Us, Four Tet and many more.
Tickets are on sale now. Adult tickets cost £195. Go to Bestival.net for more information
