The pace and size of events in coming weeks is going to be huge for Portsmouth – and the festival season is nearly upon us too!

Kicking things off tonight, The Renegade Project team up with Magic Brains Productions to provide the official Clive Henry Warmup Takeover with special guest duo Latecomer as part of our residency at Shack Bar and Kitchen, Albert Road. For those unaware of Latecomer, they are a Portsmouth tech-house duo who have been smashing the local scene recently, becoming residents with Love Amplified – even performing at Ministry of Sound in London.

Joining them will be resident DJs Flatline, LA-TO, A.D.G and Refuzz from 8pm until 1.30am. With free entry all night, expect plenty of deep/tech-house, disco and techno. More details at and be sure to check out Magic Brains Presents Clive Henry, on April 29 at The Loft.

Also tonight, local drum and bass heavyweights UpDnB and Context Audio will be teaming to present a night of forward-thinking breaks and bass with headliner AMOSS (Dispatch/Renegade Hardware).

AMOSS will be supplying the heat with productions that have seen them supported by some of scene’s biggest labels and artists including Spectrasoul, London Elektricity and BTK. Doors open from 8pm until 1.30am, entry £5 on the door or free for UP DnB members. For more go to
