Have your say

I think Portsmouth may be something of a ghost town this weekend as the Bugged Out festival takes over Butlins in Bognor Regis.

Personally, I left first thing this morning to make my way there and I literally cannot wait to spend the weekend seeing some fantastic DJs.

There is also the chance to support local promoters such as Discreet who are hosting the Rosso Lounge tonight from 9pm until 1am and also the Concrete Music team who will be hosting The Escape tomorrow night.

If you are going I will see you on the dance floor.

If you aren’t lucky enough to be going to Bugged Out then there are still some pretty decent parties happening this weekend.

Drift Bar will have their upstairs taken hostage by the likes of Bronx Image who will be ‘tapping that ass’ from 10pm until 3am.

This is a night where they plan to send you freaky crazy from start to finish with tunes designed to make you want to bump and grind from the second you hit that dance floor.

You can expect the best in hip hop and R’n’B – from Black Eyed Peas to Blackstreet, Snoop Dogg to Run DMC.

And that’s not forgetting the sounds of house and funk from DJ Darren Crook downstairs.

Entry is free before 9pm and more after.

With The Barn in Milton closing next month there is not long left for everyone to take advantage of this unique venue, so make the most of what ever events are being hosted there until those doors finally shut for good.

Tomorrow just happens to be the last turn of Pulse – House and Electro group from 7pm until 1.30am.

Their aim is fill your evening with deep, minimal, funky and electro house and have you dancing so hard you leave your mark.

Some of Portsmouth’s finest talents are on offer for you for this event, with DJ names such as Ben Wilcox, Chris Heaton, Ham Rice and Miss Nixx to name but a few.

Head down early to avoid disappointment, entry is free before 9pm and £3 after.
