This weekend is all about Saturday night for me. There are some pretty decent events going on in Portsmouth that you would be gutted to miss out on.
Firstly though, tonight sees the launch of the brand new cocktail menu at The Atrium on Albert Road.
We have all been here at some point and woken up the following morning with a fuzzy head.
To celebrate the new tastes, along with new exciting shooters and bombs, you will be joined by the Fuzz Tones DJing all night long, laying the best psychedelic-rock, pop, soul and much more.
Entry is free all night.
Tomorrow night is an event I have been waiting for since their last party on New Year’s Day. Discreet are back with a bang and they present to you: Fear & Loathing at The Bazooka Circus Hotel. From 10pm until 4am join host Hunter Johnson where everything is what it isn’t and is never quite what it is.
There will be three rooms filled to the brim with musical talent, two of which feature specially selected headline DJs, whose skills have caught the ears of the Discreet team to fit perfectly with their party passion.
They will be joined by Discreet residents and a bunch of secret super-skilled Portsmouth DJs.
They have even included a room dedicated to the highly in demand Kitchen Disco. You have to be there to experience this.
Following in true Discreet-style, this event is being held at a secret location that will be announced on the night at 6pm.
Tickets are also a secret worth discovering, so like the Discreet Facebook page or check out some of their previous madness online at discreet.events
Also tomorrow, Amplified Sessions take control of The Lanyards in North End from 9.30pm until 3.30am, bringing back the in demand headline DJ Hot Since 82, who always goes down a treat.
Support comes from all the Amplified residents including Soul Divide and Significant Other.
Remaining tickets are now £20 and are available from Resident Advisor.
