This weekend sees sad times as it is the last weekend at The Cellars at Eastney before it closes its doors. Between the years of 1890 and 2015, the venue has seen events of all shapes and sizes and has been particularly good for live music events.
It will be a huge shame to see it go, but on a positive note, they will go out with a bang as they have welcomed a very proud Beats & Swing to host the penultimate night.
On Saturday night from 7.30pm until 1am the Beats & Swing have invited some of their favourite acts to celebrate the successful years of the venue.
Join Jim Needles, Great Scott, Deluxe Flamingos, Chip Jacks and Tom Mayhem for a night of great vibes, good tunes and brilliant atmosphere.
Tickets are £8.
Also tomorrow, it has reached that majorly exciting time where the anticipation is just too much to cope with – it is time for the next Discreet party!
This time around Discreet present The Loonies.
Down the decades there have been tales of an infamous smuggler who ventured ashore every once in a while in search of a jolly good time – he goes by the name of One-Eyed Willy and this weekend he has made it to Southsea.
Have you found the map and started trying to solve the riddles of where you will find him when the clock strikes 7pm?
The Discreet team found their way to One-Eyed Willy’s secret cabin and inside they have created something very special that is nothing short of an adventure.
Resident DJs Chris Vaux and KINK will be joined as usual by a secret special guest. Don’t miss the ship, get your tickets from discreet.events for £15.
Watch out for booby traps on the night!
Lastly, after the success of their launch party, the Sky High Club is back at the Spinnaker Tower from 8pm until 1am.
They will be cranking it up again, this time by inviting Soul II Soul legend Jazzie B to the top of the tower – not forgetting the Funktifino Allstars and the Monkey Love Stunt Team.
You can expect there to be mayhem from start to finish.
