Two-time BBC Folk Award winners Greg Russell and Ciaran Algar are the next guests of Forest Folk in North Boarhunt.
Since the pair met in 2011 they have released two acclaimed albums, The Queen’s Lover and The Call.
And the duo have developed and honed their stage craft, becoming one of the most sought after young acts on the English folk scene.
Besides finding time to sit university exams, they have appeared at Cambridge Folk Festival and Fairport’s Cropredy Convention as well as on Mark Radcliffe’s BBC Radio 2 Folk Show.
Russell and Algar are at Forest Folk on Monday, doors open 7.30pm.
