REVIEW: Paradise Lost at Wedgewood Rooms, Southsea

Have your say

If you were imagining your fantasy festival, who would be on the bill? The Rolling Stones? Queen? Foo Fighters, perhaps?

Well now you don’t have to imagine it, you can see fantasy become reality – almost.

A new festival in Southsea is bringing together a fantasy festival line-up of tribute acts.

Fake Fest takes place in Castle Field on October 1 and features sets from Fool Fighters, Rhapsody is the real Queen? and Rolling Zones.

There will also be a DJ, food court and bars at the event from 1pm to 11pm.

And festival organisers are looking for local covers bands to join the fun.

n Interested bands should contact Hanne Steffens on 01243 534125 or email hanne.steffens@jpress.co.uk.

n Earlybird tickets cost £30 for two until August 31. Thereafter, tickets cost £19.99 each. Children under 16 get in for free when each accompanied by a paying adult. To book, call 01243 534125 or 01243 534126, or visit jpsouthevents.co.uk or The News Centre in Hilsea.
