Finding a home at The Spring

Youngsters command the Guildhall stage as Portsmouth Schools Music Festival returns for 2018

Music and imagery combine to help create what promises to be a captivating show at The Spring arts centre in Havant tomorrow.

Found is a suite of folk songs inspired by a collection of photographs gathered from the flea-markets of Berlin.

With a voice that Caitlin Moran describes as ‘toasty and lovely as Christmas Morning’ and songs that are ‘exquisite, extraordinary, almost unbearably beautiful’ in Mojo magazine, singer-songwriter Paul Armfield will be performing with a small ensemble of multi-instrumentalists alongside projections of their inspirations. An accompanying free exhibition of the pictures has been on display in The Spring’s Local Collection cabinets throughout October.
