FORMER Roxy Music crooner Bryan Ferry has postponed his concert at Portsmouth Guildhall tomorrow night due to illness.

The 69-year-old pulled out of his show at the Royal Albert Hall in London on Monday at short notice after being taken ill with a throat infection.

Tonight’s concert in Brighton has also been postponed.

All postponed dates are expected to be rescheduled as soon as possible.

In a statement, his management said: ‘Our deepest apologies to the many disappointed fans and for causing inconvenience.

‘Bryan is devastated to have been forced to postpone these concerts after 16 consecutive sold out and critically acclaimed UK shows.

‘Customers are advised to hold on to their tickets and contact their point of purchase for details about any rearranged date or further information on refunds.’
