FOURTEEN more top-flight acts have been announced for the bill of The Isle of Wight Festival.
Indie veterans James, superstar DJ Paul Oakenfold, and soul legend Geno Washington and The Ram Jam Band have been added to the line-up.
Also joining them on the weekend of June 11 to 14 will be Imelda May, The Courteeners, Suzanne Vega, Ash, Sharon Corr, Foxes, Lightning Seeds, The View, UB40’s Ali Campbell, Astro and Mickey Virtue, Ian Anderson plays the best of Jethro Tull and La Femme.
These acts join the already-announced Fleetwood Mac – which was a major coup for the organisers – dance-rockers The Prodigy, The Black Keys, Happy hitmaker Pharrell Williams and Paolo Nutini.
The Isle Of Wight Festival, which takes place at Seaclose Park, Newport, offers 12 stages of live music over the weekend – including Main Stage headliners, acoustic sets, DJ performances and up-and-coming talent – alongside a huge variety of additional entertainment and activities such as the Bohemian Woods, Intoxicated Tea Rooms and Hipshaker.
