There’s more Beatles and Stones music as Ready Steady Go take to the stage at The Cellars at Eastney from 9pm on New Year’s Eve.

This four-piece party band showcase the best pop from the 1960s, playing The Who, The Monkees and The Small Faces, along with the big two and many more.

Their live show features video footage of ’60s groups, news, films and advertising projected onto a screen at the back of the stage and the band all wear authentic ’60s clothing. Tickets cost £10 from (023) 9282 6249.

And Mark Morriss and Friends’ bring their annual Happy Holidays bash to The Cellars for a fourth year tomorrow.

The final festive favourite of this week’s gigs round-up is the Kojak’s Revenge Christmas Party at the Wedgewood Rooms tomorrow from 8pm.

This Guide Award-nominated band have had a fantastic year, celebrating 20 years since they formed.
