Have your say

There are only 10 days to go until our gala awards night, but there’s still time to get your free tickets to the event.

The night will honour the best in arts and culture from across our region in the past 12 months. You can see the shortlists in each of the 13 categories below.

We will also be presenting a Special Achievement Award, sponsored by Portsmouth City Council, for someone we feel has played a great role in contributing to the cultural life of the region.

On top of that there will be entertainment from some top performers in between the awards. Fresh from stealing the show in Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs at The Kings Theatre on a nightly basis, our compere for the evening will be West End star Jack Edwards.

The event is sponsored by Portsmouth-based estate agents Fry and Kent, which has more than 40 years experience in its field.

Tickets for the night at The New Theatre Royal in Guildhall Walk, on Monday, January 29 at 7.30pm, are free and available to everyone.

To get hold of tickets, e-mail us with how many you would like, your name, address and a contact number to features@thenews.co.uk or call (023) 9262 2136.

Tickets will be sent via e-mail, or for those without access to e-mail they can be held for collection at the New Theatre Royal’s box office.
