A quick jaunt up the A3 will get you to the annual Guilfest, which is boasting a hugely varied line-up for this weekend’s event.

With the Boomtown Rats, The Fun Lovin’ Criminals and The Hoosiers playing today, Kool and the Gang and The Human League are headlining the mainstage Saturday and Sunday respectively.

Elsewhere punters will get the chance to see acts ranging from Boney M to rap pioneers The Sugarhill Gang, punk legends Sham69 and the Buzzcocks, drum and bass guru Roni Size, and reality TV stars Jedward.

As well as the music, there is a wealth of other entertainment and activities on site for the whole family including a 150ft beer tent serving GuilFest bitter, Calypso cocktail bars, The Cosmic Comedy Zone, Man In The Moon Theatre tent, La Discotheque, and an extensive KidZone.
