KAISER Chiefs have been added to this year’s line-up at the Isle of Wight Festival.
It has been announced that the chart-topping Leeds five-piece will be taking the stage in the slot before the opening night headliners Kings of Leon.
Known for their hits Oh My God, I Predict a Riot and Ruby, they will play on Friday, June 10
Weekend tickets for the Newport-based festival’s 10th anniversary are now sold out.
Foo Fighters headline Saturday after the reformed Pulp play, and Kasabian will close the festivities on Sunday. Plan B, Public Image Ltd, Beady Eye, Iggy and the Stooges and The Vaccines are among the other acts lined up to perform.
However rapper Tinie Tempah, who scored a number one hit with Pass Out, has pulled out of playing.
He said: ‘Huge apologies to my fans, but due to conflicting schedule demands I sadly won’t be able to play this year’s Isle of Wight Festival.’
