Bringing the country into the city for folk duo India Electric Company's new project

Have your say

Example blew the roof off the Portsmouth Guildhall on Tuesday evening as he continues is epic marathon of a tour.

The singer/songwriter, who’s real name is Elliot Gleave, brought lots of energy to the stage that he manages to keep up till the very end of his performance.

His enthusiasm came as a breath of fresh air in comparison to the crowd’s, who were lacking in numbers and weren’t 100 per cent responsive.

Despite this, Elliot encouraged crowd participation jumping up and down on stage and getting the seated people to stand on their feet.

Example performed a wide variety of his hits ranging from his earlier albums to his latest Live, Life, Living.

Favourites of the night were Kids Again, Kickstarts and Changed The Way You Kissed Me - which saw the most action from the crowd.

Example definitely performed his socks off and his range of songs shows just how successful he has been in music industry. Those who have tickets for his other venues on this tour will be in for a treat and I will definitely be keeping my ears open for any new material from this talented guy.
