Hot off the stages at the Reading and Leeds festivals, The Hunna – an indie rock band from Hertfordshire – live up to their name and give it one ‘hunna’ per cent at the Wedge after the release of their debut album 100.
Inside the intimate venue the lights go down, the crowd goes crazy, and up come four spotlights as the band enter to Kanye West’s Clique.
Their first song We Could Be gives us the vibe for the evening and you can feel the bass through your feet for the whole night.
Backlit stage lighting provides intimate links with the audience and reflects the band’s interaction with fans on social media which established their down-to-earth start in the music industry.
The band’s debut single, Bonfire, one of the last songs they play, is a crowd-uniting moment and one shared on social media by their young fan base, otherwise known as The H-Squad.
As they go from strength to strength, Hunna’s next adventure will be supporting Jimmy Eat World on their tour of the United States in October.
This band is definitely one to look out for.
