HMS Warrior and Portsmouth Festivities lit up the harbour with a night of folk, courtesy of the Peatbog Faeries supported by duo Greg Russell and Ciaran Algar.

Despite earlier rain the evening sun was in full voice by the time of the concert and the HMS Warrior made for a beautiful sight.

Greg Russell and Ciaran Algar were up first playing an hour long set of folk music that hit the mark

superbly.

The duo displayed a keen eye for a good tale with tight composition that hit the mark topped off with funny jokes between songs.

As the Peatbog Faeries took to the stage their willingness to mix genres made for an intriguing listen and the performance energised the crowd.

When the group varied the pace it paid dividends in what was a

vibrant show. A unique, entertaining performance and closed out the evening with aplomb.

A fine evening out, with the beautiful setting and enthusiastic performances hard to fault. A superb night of folk aboard the HMS Warrior.
