REVIEW: The Stranglers at Portsmouth Guildhall

Have your say

Guide Award-winning band The Mojo Filters play a charity show at the Wedgewood Rooms tonight.

They won Best Band at our 2011 awards and they appeared on Wave 105 and Express FM today, promoting the show in aid of Brain Tumour Research.

Explains drummer Luke Gibson: ‘As a band, our objective has become to make as much money as possible for the charity.

‘For us it’s massively meaningful as unfortunately our singer Alex has very recently lost a close member of his family to a brain tumour, so we really want to show as much support as we can.’

They’ll headline tonight’s show with support from The Plans and Midday Committee. Tickets cost £7 from (023) 9286 3911 or on the door and all proceeds go to Brain Tumour Research and Basingstoke Hoima Partnership.
