They’re fighting the good fight

One of 2014’s success stories, War on Drugs are bringing their dreamy rock to the south coast this weekend.

The Philadelphia-based rock band are at the O2 Guildhall in Southampton tomorrow, and the Dome in Brighton the following night.

While the band’s third album Lost in the Dream received almost universal critical acclaim – NME gave it nine out 10 – a spat with Sun Kil Moon mainman Mark Kozelek saw them attract even more attention.

War on Drugs emerged looking the more dignified of the pair, and must now be hoping to put it behind them ahead of what is their biggest ever UK tour.

Doors on both nights are at 7pm.

Tickets for Southampton are £23, and £21.50 for Brighton.
