Have your say

If you’re a fan of the Beatles and the Rolling Stones (and, let’s face it, who doesn’t like at least one of them?) and you’re after a night out for New Year’s Eve, the Wedgewood Rooms can help.

Two top tribute bands come together on Monday in the Southsea venue’s annual New Year’s Eve bash.

The Bog Rolling Stones

The Bog Rolling Stones

Bog Rolling Stones are all about fun and high energy entertainment, always starting-up the crowd.

With members slipping in and out of character, they get their audiences jumping like Jack Flash.

It’s only rock ‘n’ roll, but a lot of people like it.

The Silver Beatles, meanwhile, focus on authenticity, although they keep their tongues firmly in their cheeks and their fans feeling fine.

They have played with The Quarrymen, Denny Laine, the Merseybeats and original Beatles drummer Pete Best.

They’ve even shared a bill with the likes of Robbie Williams and Madonna.

They perform early Beatles, late Beatles, dead Beatles and living Beatles, all in a hard day’s night.

Doors open at 8pm and the fun continues until 2.30am with the It’s A Sin DJs providing complete satisfaction.

You can buy love. Tickets cost £12 from (023) 9286 3911 or wedgewood-rooms.co.uk
