True blues gig at Eastney’s Cellars

On flights of fancy with the Flamingods at Psych Fest

Portsmouth-born Sixties star Paul Jones and blues craftsman Dave Kelly join forces for a gig at Eastney’s Cellars this evening.

Having declined Brian Jones’ invitation to join the Rolling Stones in 1962, Paul accepted the very next offer – a job with the group that soon became Manfred Mann.

Paul’s songs have been recorded by Ten Years After and Carlos Santana. He is a member of The Blues Band.

Kelly jammed with Muddy Waters and toured with Howlin’ Wolf and John Lee Hooker.

Tickets are £17 in advance and £19 on the door. Visit
