Veteran punks are back on the (Lag)wagon

Have your say

Veteran punks Lagwagon are back with a new album, their first in nine years.

It’s not that the band broke up or even went on hiatus after releasing 2005’s Resolve.

They’ve continued a robust tour schedule, and frontman Joey Cape has released a steady stream of original material as a solo artist and with his other projects Bad Astronaut, Scorpios, and Bad Loud (not to mention cranking out cover albums with his other project Me First and the Gimme Gimmes).

But new album Hang has been going down well, even if it has some darker themes than on the Californian’s previous works.

Make your own mind up when they hit The Wedgewood Rooms on Thursday, doors 7.30pm. Tickets cost £18.50. Go to
