VICTORIOUS Festival is up for two top awards.
The Southsea music spectacle, which attracted more than 100,000 spectators over the August Bank Holiday weekend, is going for Best Major Festival and is going toe-to-toe with the likes of Glastonbury, Reading, Leeds, Download and V Festival.

Victorious is also running for Best Family Festival at the UK Festival Awards against events such as Camp Bestival and Lemonfest.
This year’s Victorious was hailed as the best yet as the likes of Basement Jaxx, Texas, Ray Davies, The Darkness, Tinie Tempah and The Flaming Lips performed on the seafront.
Festival co-organiser Andy Marsh is delighted.
He said: ‘It’s fantastic for Portsmouth that we have got our own proper festival now.
‘Last year, we were the new boys and now to be up there with the major festivals is awesome.
‘It’s fantastic that we’ve got to this point.
‘It’s pretty impressive when you see that huge list of festivals and we are in there amongst them.
‘It’s great. It’s fantastic exposure for the festival within the industry.’
