Victorious Festival organisers are pulling out all the stops to bring the music spectacle to life.
The Common Stage, which will act as the festival’s main arena in Southsea, is taking shape and a Victorious banner is up on Castle Field, where another stage is going.
Victorious branding has also gone up around Southsea Common ahead of the August show on Saturday and Sunday.
The line up includes Primal Scream, The Flaming Lips, Tinie Tempah, Texas, The Darkness, Super Furry Animals and Ray Davies.
The Pyramids, except for a few limited spaces, and D-Day car parks are now closed until September 1. From Saturday to Monday, road closures are in place along Clarence Esplanade (from Hovertravel to The Pyramids). The promenade is also restricted west of Serpentine way to behind the Pyramids.
Victorious co-organiser, James Ralls said: ‘We have ensured our build-and-break plans are as tight as possible, and are doing everything we can to minimise disruption for seafront businesses, local residents and people who use the common and seafront.’
Tickets are still available for both days at victoriousfestival.co.uk
