A diverse line-up of rock and metal bands, two stages, loads of free activities and the chance to meet some of the bands – it’s all at Butserfest on September 14.

We Are The Ocean, Mallory Knox and Max Raptor will be among the bands to take to the Main stage. While Bleed From Within (winners of the Metal Hammer Golden Gods award for Best New Band) will be rocking the Glory or Death stage.

Now in its seventh year, the festival takes place at Queen Elizabeth Country Park at Horndean, at the base of Butser Hill, and has a strict no alcohol or drugs policy.

Organised by East Hampshire District Council, it will also feature sets from Fearless Vampire Killers, Natives, Arcane Roots, Attention Thieves, Heights and many more.

Activities included in the ticket price are laser quest, zorbing, bungee runs and an inflatable wrecking ball.

There will also be stalls and stands, including official festival and band merchandise and a signing tent with opportunities to meet the bands.

For people who want to get even closer to the music, there will be intimate backstage acoustic performances from some of the festival’s most popular bands. Go to facebook.com/butserfest to find out more and for backstage gig tickets. These performances are free to festival ticket-holders.
