Zebrahead at the Wedgeweood Rooms

Zebrahead have been going for a dozen years, most famous for their Grammy-nominated cover of Metallica's Enter Sandman.

The Orange County-based rock act's vocalist, Ali Tabatabaee, says: 'What's strange is that kids are getting younger every time we tour.

'I really don't know where they hear us or where they get our music from, but it truly is inspiring.'

The quintet produced a meld of punk, hip-hop and alternative rock.

Last year they released Phoenix and Ali says that its 16 tracks are the band's most well-rounded collection and second release on Icon Music.

See Zebrahead at the Wedgewood Rooms on Wednesday with support from Kids Can't Fly and Bigtopp from 8pm.

Tickets cost 9 from the Albert Road box office, (023) 9286 3911 or wedgewood-rooms.co.uk
