Enwezor Nzegwu, who featured in the hit TV show in 2014, will be leading students as part of the University of Portsmouth’s own TV show tomorrow.

Television and broadcast students from the university are going to be involved in streaming the programme, which airs at midday tomorrow, and are now asking people to join their audience.

Enwezor, who is a business consultant at the university, will be giving tips on how to cook healthy fast-food alternatives for students during the 30-minute programme.

Alinka Buzdygan, a third year TV and broadcasting student, is part of the team behind the show.

The 22-year-old said: ‘Enwezor will be cooking live for us. He will be cooking healthy alternatives to takeaways with a bit of a twist to them.

‘There will be things like muffin burgers on the menu. We’d love people to join our audience and watch the show live.’

The broadcasts are a regular occurrence at the university.

Speaking at the time, he said: ‘The idea was to try and give students something they can cook which is easy, cheap and tasty.

‘The show was a little bit chaotic but the students did a fantastic job in producing it.

‘It was a little bit like Bake Off. It was just fantastic and the food we produced was pretty good.’

The show was broadcast online throughout university buildings and on the big screen at Guildhall Square.

Those keen to attend tomorrow’s free event are being asked to arrive at the Eldon Building, in Middle Street, Portsmouth, no later than 11.45am.

The live show will begin at midday.
