Hairdresser shares online dating tips in first book

Hayley O’Hare celebrated the release of Tinder Tactics – a tongue-in-cheek guide to finding relationships through the mobile dating app Tinder – this week.

Hayley, 29, from Chichester, installed the app after breaking up with her boyfriend last year.

She said: ‘I was unaware of how easy it was to get dates on there, but it became clear to me quite quickly. I went out for lots of nice drinks and first dates.

‘A couple of my clients were commenting on how funny I was, and said that I should write a book.’

Hayley, who has since found love, decided to recall her experiences through a fictional narrative, with the intention of making ‘the sort of silly gift you may buy for a Secret Santa’ present.

She said: ‘I wanted to make something that would end up floating around people’s houses and make people laugh.

‘I would love to write a bit more about relationships, but maybe with a bit more depth.’
