However the airline Air New Zealand has just raised the bar with its hilarious new campaign about kids from across the globe uniting to escape from Santa's '˜naughty list'.

The schoolkids organise a '˜naughty list conference', which looks very similar to the United Nations, where kids from across the globe make promises to be good '“ such as the British '˜delegate' promising that the UK's kids will eat more veg in 2019.

While previous Air New Zealand Christmas adverts have mocked themselves, this year's manages to make jokes out of world affairs '“ including putting the American President on the naughty list.

In the advert one of the kids looks very similar to Donald Trump  '“ he is wearing a Make Christmas Great Again hat and a suit with red tie, the mini-Trump barges to the front of the line.

The advert also mocks Trump's gaffe at the United Nations, with the kid declaring '˜I'm not naughty, I'm the nicest person I know'.
