Their energetic mix of quality bluegrass and Gospel music, professional presentation, inventive instrumental work and wide variety of vocal arrangements are sure to make a great show.

Craig Havinghurst, from Music City Roots, says: ‘These guys are among the elite in the business, keeping the fires lit for the original bluegrass sound.’

Ken Brown, from Square Roots Promotions, says: ‘We can’t tell you just how excited and honoured we are to be able to announce that we are hosting a show for the legendary Joe Mullins and The Radio Ramblers.

‘And not just that – it will be the band’s only UK date!

‘It’s a long story, but suffice to say we are very lucky to be able to bring this one-off show to Portsmouth.

‘We were lucky enough to catch Joe and the boys last year at the Grand ‘Ole Opry on our first-ever visit to Nashville.

‘And what started out as a casual e-mail conversation has now ended up with the band flying into the UK to play for us, then flying on to Europe for other dates.’

Doors open at 7.15pm, with the show starting at 7.45pm. Tickets cost £12 each, £14 on the door.
