Lewis Hamilton to drive title-winning Mercedes at Festival of Speed
TRIPLE F1 world champion Lewis Hamilton and his Mercedes team-mate Nico Rosberg have both confirmed they will be among the glittering line-up of star drivers at the Goodwood Festival of Speed (June 23-26).
For the first time, the sell-out festival crowd will be able to see and hear one of the new-generation turbo F1 cars, as the Mercedes pair take to the famous Goodwood hill in a 2014 Mercedes F1 W05 hybrid.
Hamilton, who drove it to World Championship victory in 2014, takes the wheel on the Saturday, while current championship leader Rosberg will be flying in to burn some rubber on the Sunday.
Other famous names driving or riding at the festival include Jenson Button, Sir Chris Hoy, Carl Fogarty, Emerson Fittipaldi, Gerhard Berger, Giacomo Agostini and Sir Jackie Stewart.
