Strictly star and Kings Theatre patron Lisa Riley will be bringing some sparkle to Southsea when she comperes Fused! in September with local actor Christopher Marlowe.
The charity show features professional and amateur dancers from the area in one night of high-octane dance routines.
They will take to the stage to perform contemporary, urban and traditional dance styles, with all proceeds from the night being split between Portsmouth Mind and the Kings.
Louise Birchall, director of Fused! says she is thrilled to have Lisa Riley to compere the show.
‘It is fantastic that our patron and Strictly star Lisa is able to be a part of our season opener and charity show.
‘The show has a great range of different genres; there is definitely something for everyone!’
Redmand Rance, who has just finished a three-year stint as Billy Elliot in the West End, will perform solo and with the Marie Clarke School of Dance.
Featured performers include Flavio de Brito with Tango de Noches dancers, Most Wanted, The Show Girlz from Manic Stage Productions, Giselle Academy of Dance, The Boyle O’Dowda Academy of Irish Dance, as well as Portsmouth Chinese Association’s Singing and Dancing Group.
