For those still celebrating their A-Level results this weekend, Friday at Pryzm looks to be a decent club night as entry is free and drinks are 50 per cent off before 11pm. There will be three rooms to choose from: dance anthems, urban bangers and guilty pop classics. Entry £3 until midnight, £5 after. Doors are from 10pm until 3am with more details at facebook.com.

On Saturday night, I’ll be taking over The Overboard Alternative residency at The Fleet, King Henry I Streetm from 9pm until 2am; entry is free and the music will be a ‘kraken’ selection of pop-punk, rock, metal and synthwave!

I try and play as many requests as I can, so be sure to swing by if your music taste leans towards huge guitar riffs and energetic vocals.

More details at facebook.com.

On Monday, Delight Alternative Night at The Astoria on Guildhall Walk host their annual UV Pirate Party which promises to be a ‘neon-nautical adventure’ with thousands of glowsticks being given away, UV bodypainters, a UV cannon and prizes to be won for best fancy dress. Plus there’ll be a full spectrum of bangers as well from rock, punk, indie, hip-hop, metal, rave and nu/old-school. Entry is £4 from 10pm until 2am with more details at facebook.com.
