Princess Charlotte and Prince George steal the show at Princess Eugenie's Royal Wedding

Princess Charlotte took a tumble as she arrived at the wedding. 

Accompanied by brother, Prince George, five, acting as page boy, the three year-old bridesmaid enthusiastically waved to the adoring crowds as they approached St George's Chapel, Windsor Castle, before falling on her way in to the church.

Charlotte wasn't the only member of the young bridal party to struggle with the steps.

Page boy Louis De Givenchy, also stumbled as he entered the church, falling onto his hands on the West Steps of the chapel.

The six-year-old is the son of Zoe De Givenchy and Olivier De Givenchy.

However, both youngsters dusted themselves off and accompanied Princess Eugenie down the aisle.

George and Charlotte were joined in the bridal party by other royal children. Savannah Phillips, seven, and her six year-old sister Isla, daughters of Peter and Autumn Phillips acted as bridesmaids, alongside Mia Tindall, four daughter of Zara and Mike Tindall, and Maud Windsor, five, goddaughter of Princess Eugenie and granddaughter of Princess Michael of Kent.

Theodora Williams, six, daughter of Robbie Williams and wife Ayda Field, also took on the role of bridesmaid.

They were wearing dresses and uniforms designed my Amaia Arrieta of Amaia Kids, and the design incorporates the Mark Bradford artwork included in the Order of Service.

Floral patterns were seen on belts on both the bridesmaids' white dresses and pageboys' navy trouser outfits.

Lady Louise Mountbatten-Windsor, 14, and James, Viscount Severn, aged 10, the children of Prince Edward and Sophie Countess of Wessex, were both given the role of special attendants.

Lady Louise greeted the bridal party at the West Steps before they entered the chapel, and the team of youngsters were kept in check by the Cambridges' nanny as they waited to follow the bride down the aisle.

As they waited the few minutes for the bride to arrive, George and Charlotte had their hands held by their nanny.

Prince George seemed curious to be at the second St George's Chapel Royal Wedding of the year, craning his neck to take in his surroundings at the church.

But as the trumpeters took their positions to herald the bride, the future king was seen to put his hands over his ears at the noise.

He was not the only one startled, as a number of the children were seen to jump and Savannah put her finger in her ear at the flurry of noise.
