Luke is a consumate front man who soon gets the crowd onside, virtually all of whom were witnessing the band for the first time.

Star of the opening set however was guitarist Roberto Luti, who provided the perfect foil for the lead singer with some superlative slide guitar work.

Although it was the second set but the band went up a gear with a more rockabilly tinged songs with the fervor of Johnny Cash.

The evening finished with a standing ovation with Luke making an exit through the crowd shaking virtually everybody's hand.
