Rising stars ready to dazzle at Victorious Festival
Scores of unsigned and new artists are to appear at the August Bank Holiday weekend event taking place on Southsea Common.
First up is the hotly-tipped Slow Readers Club.
The four-piece outfit specialise in dark and brooding indie electro, drawing comparisons with Interpol, The Killers and The National.

Hide AdTheir latest single, Forever In Your Debt, featured in the top five singles of the week on indie radio station XFM.
Portsmouth born and bred band Kassassin Street are also on the bill, offering their own brand of dance-infused psychedelia. They will be joined by The Beautiful Secret, made up of up and coming singer/songwriters Rachael Hawnt and Ash Cutler.
Local party starters Rhythm of the 90s and singer-songwriter Jerry Williams will also be ready to wow crowds.
