Super Siskin school bake sale is a hit

SISKIN Infant and Junior School, Gosport, held a bake sale during break time to raise funds on Pudsey day.

The children sold biscuits and cakes for 50p at the fundraiser, organised by school council chair, Ruby Frimley.

She said: ‘ I wasn’t expecting everyone to get so involved. Me and my mum baked cakes and we have already made £12. We expect noting so what we get is a bonus.’

Ruby, 10, wrote a letter to parents asking them to support the bake sale. The school now hopes the day’s event can become an annual tradition. - Ieuan Hughes
