It’s a tale of love, loss, and overwhelming passion. And the multi-award-winning CCADS’ performance of Aspects of Love conveyed the tempestuous torrent of emotions unleashed.

Artistic director John-Paul McCrohon gave a convincing portrayal of love-lorn Alex Dillingham, a role previously performed by Michael Ball.

He was ably complemented by double-Best Actress Guide Award-winner Kerry McCrohon, who played Rose Vibert in the first UK non-professional production of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s piece.

The musical prowess of Helen Stoddart and Danny Owen was apparent in their impressive performances as Guilietta Trapani and Alex’s uncle George Dillingham respectively.

All-told the CCADS adaptation of the hit show – which has seen extensive runs in London and on Broadway – made for a gripping evening’s entertainment.
