Dickens fever is starting to descend on Portsmouth, as the city gears up to celebrate the famous authors 200th birthday on February 7.

The Hayling Island Station Theatre is no different, as it puts on one of his most widely recognised novels, A Christmas Carol.

From January 21-28, a pantomime version of the story will be performed. The iconic tale follows Ebenezer Scrooge has he is visited by three ghosts; the ghost of Christmas past, the ghost of Christmas present, and the ghost of Christmases yet to come.
