CHILDREN put their vocal chords to the test as part of a workshop at the New Theatre Royal in Portsmouth.
The Fun of Musical Theatre was run by professional singing teacher and vocal coach Georgina Rust.
The youngsters, aged between six and 11, sang Under The Sea from Disney’s The Little Mermaid.
The children also made their own nautical-themed props, and yesterday afternoon performed to all their family and friends.
Cat Fyson, digital marketing officer at the theatre, said: ‘It’s something a bit different. The workshops are a good opportunity to gain confidence and make new friends.
‘It seemed to go down well. A lot of the kids don’t do a lot of drama outside of school.
‘They enjoyed it. It went fantastically well.
‘All the children were just so full of energy.’
