Denmead Operatic Society, which was nominated for a Guide Award last year with Titanic – The Musical, is celebrating its 80th anniversary this year.

The group is performing Masquerade at Park Community School, Havant, from June 29 until June 1.

Susan Hargood-Jones and her children enter the attic of a sprawling mansion. They search through a naval trunk and discover an old board game. Scribbled on it are warnings not to open it but they can’t resist.

They are challenged to play the game – win and they are released, lose and they will be locked inside forever.

Tickets: £10 on (01329) 310849.
