A finalist from the BBC’s Any Dream Will Do, Keith Jack, has taken on the role he fought for in front of millions of television viewers as he stars in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Joseph and The Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat.

The musical, produced and directed by Bill Kenwright, will arrive at the Mayflower Theatre, Southampton, from tonight until Saturday.

Any Dream Will Do, watched by millions every Saturday night, was produced to find a leading man for Andrew Lloyd Webber’s new West End production.

Keith, chosen from tens of thousands of wannabees, charmed audiences week after week with his vocal talents before coming in a close second to Lee Mead.

Joseph and The Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat is a colourful retelling of the biblical story about Joseph, his 11 brothers and the coat of many colours.

Tickets cost £19.50 to £34 from the Mayflower Theatre, Southampton, on (023) 8071 1811 or go to mayflower.org.uk.
