Set against the glamourous skyline of New York, Guys and Dolls is being performed at the Berry Theatre next week.

Sarah Brown, the mission doll sets out to stop all the evil doers in Times Square, but is tricked by Sky Masterson the gambler.

The original production premiered on Broadway in 1950 and ran for over 1200 performances, winning the Tony award for Best Musical. The show was so successful a film was made in 1955 starring Frank Sinatra, Jean Simmons and Marlon Brando.

The Performing Arts Company who are putting on the show, are based in Hedge End, Southampton, and are a successful youth theatre who traditionally put on three productions a year.
