Ladyboys of Bangkok

Kings Theatre

The Ladyboys of Bangkok shimmied and sashayed their way across the stage. Luscious flowing hair, pouting lips and perfect figures - these ladyboys are not the types you’d find on Little Britain.

These ladyboys are the real deal – hot, fun and fit.

The show took you on a whirlwind of variety, light-hearted comedy mixed with sexy dance moves and perfectly-executed acrobatics.

All the gay icons were included from Lady Gaga to Tina Turner to Gloria Gaynor. No gay stone was left unturned.

Rainbow spotlights shone onto the spectacular performers.

Audience participation was all part of the event. People from the crowd were picked out at random and subjected (some willingly, some unwillingly) to up-close dances.

I regretted my decision to sit in the dress circle, as I felt slightly removed from the fun. If only I had been in the stalls then I might have been picked for a dance.

There is no underestimating the enjoyment I got from this show. I would watch it again and again. Such fabulous fun.

The only downside was that it was in Southsea on a Wednesday night. I’m sure the whole place would have been on their feet if it were a Friday night in Brighton.
