Guide Award winners One Off Productions will be performing war drama The Accrington Pals at The Kings Theatre from Thursday until next Saturday.

The play, set in the early years of the First World War, shows life in a Lancashire mill town and during the Battle of the Somme.

It depicts both the experiences of the men at the front, and through comic vignettes the lives of the women left behind.

The Accrington Pals comes to The Kings Theatre from Thursday, November 20 to Saturday, November 22, evenings at 7.30pm with matinees at 2.30pm on Thursday and Saturday.

Tickets are available from the Kings box office, call (023) 9282 8282 or visit for more information.
