STRICTLY Come Dancing favourite Lisa Riley says she will still appear at the Kings Theatre this Christmas.
The 36-year-old ex-Emmerdale actress and You’ve Been Framed presenter has refuted claims that she will drop out of the Southsea pantomime if she makes it through to the final stages of Strictly.
Lisa will play Queen Malevola in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, from December 12 to January 6.
She told The News that reports in The Daily Star were ‘completely untrue’ when they stated that she would ‘disappoint thousands’ by not appearing at some panto shows.
The Daily Star claimed: ‘Lisa has an agreement with panto bosses that her understudy will take over her role.’
But Lisa said: ‘It’s not true, as far as I’m concerned.’
The star from Bury is also a patron of the Southsea theatre, after appearing there in panto before.
She is set to appear there alongside Hollyoaks’s Marcus Patrick, Rob McVeigh from Any Dream Will Do and Milkshake!’s Jen Pringle this Christmas.
