Havant Light Opera is performing John Gleadall’s Mean Old Man at the Havant-based theatre for its Christmas production.

As a triple dip recession bites into everyone’s seasonal celebrations, Mr Scrooge is warming his cockles on his earnings in this modern day musical. It’s time he learnt the errors of his ways.
