From December 4-6, Denmead Operatic Society will perform A Vicar of Dibley Christmas – The Second Coming, a sequel to their successful production last October.

The cast, led by Samantha Spivey as Geraldine, have reunited to bring Dibley’s crazies to life in St John’s Church, Rowlands Castle.

Director Ian Clark says: ‘Last year it finished with Hugo and Alice’s Wedding, complete with Teletubbies. The arched window was lit outside, providing a perfect backdrop. This year’s play begins as the happy couple arrive back from their honeymoon and follows Alice through her pregnancy to the Nativity performance on Owen’s farm. The first act features the Dibley Live radio episode and others.

‘We also feature The Dibley Choir, 20 singers who perform hymns and songs.’

Mince pies and mulled wine are available. Shows are at 7.30pm with a Saturday Matinee at 2.30pm. Tickets: £10, call (023) 9283 8683.
